One Awesome Day

So, yeah, I got to interview Mack Brown today. For any of you who aren't from planet earth, Mack Brown is the UT head football coach. We have to do a group project in my leadership issues class in which we do a leadership case study and we picked Mack Brown. It took us 3 weeks to get an interview with him, but we did it!! It was amazing. It felt very surreal. He is so laid back and nice. It was very comfortable. We were all nervous before it, but once we got in his office it was all good. Afterwards the other girl in my group that came to the interview got him to sign her Rose Bowl ticket. She actually thought to bring something for him to sign, unlike me. Fortunately, I had a UT t-shirt in my backpack so I pulled it out and got him to sign it. I was so thankful to have it with me! Anyway, that whole experince was awesome and it should make for a great group presentation.

On a funny side note, a guy in my group pointed out Vince Young's new ride in the parking lot beside the stadium. It's a big, new, silver, Mercedes SUV. The great part was that it had a UTPD parking ticket on the windshield! LOL.

Second, I found out that my study abroad trip made, so it's for sure now! I'm going to New Zealand. I don't think it has quite sunk in yet though. I have a lot of plans to make before it happens. I'm more focused on that right now than the actual trip.

Spring Break

Destin was fun and so gorgeous. It was fun catching up with everyone too. Now I have to go back to Austin this afternoon. I'm already starting to stress. I'll post some pics later. I hope everyone had a great spring break.

Great weekend!

This weekend was really fun. Heather came into town and stayed with me. Ellis and 3 of his friends ended up coming to Austin too. They ate dinner with us at El Arroyo. Esther's Follies was HILARIOUS!! I highly recommend it to anyone who is ever in Austin. Now that my brithday is over I have to catch up on all the school work that I've been neglecting. Just one more week to go and I get to go home for spring break!!

GGRRR...

I'm so glad today wasn't my birthday because it has been a terrible day. My biggest complaint is that my AC went out last night, so I had to sleep with my windows open. It was miserable. The repairman came when I got back from class at 5:30 and stayed until 8. The problem still isn't fixed because he needed a part that he didn't have and can't get until the morning. So, he's going to come again tomorrow when I get off work which means I have another miserable night ahead of me. I've never wanted to go to work before! It's always cold at my desk, but I'll actually be happy about it tomorrow. Anyway, I hope tomorrow goes a lot better than today did. Hmm...I'm only 20 for another 3 hours. Weird.
