Blah...

I have my first test of the semester tomorrow and it's in my hardest class. I'm completely unprepared for it, but at this point I don't really think I care. I just want it to be over.

I saw the sun today for the first time in 3 days right before it went down again.

This week has been terrible because this test has been hanging over my head. I also realized that I have a test on Tuesday and Wednesday next week. This is really not good because I'm going to Beaumont to see Heather this weekend because her birthday was on Monday.

This semester has just been completely weird. I've been neglecting studying because I've been too preoccupied with work, applying to study abroad, thinking about grad school, etc. I think this test will bring me back to reality.

My birthday is coming up and right now I don't even care.

Funny Observation

Today, half of the students at UT wore hoodies, jeans, and tennis shoes. The other half wore t-shirts, shorts, and flip flops. I guess that's what happens when the temperature fluctuates 40 degrees everyday.

Another funny observation...my dad sent me flowers today. Is it a holiday?

!!!!!

Today I got my provisional acceptance to the study abroad program I applied to. That means I get to go assuming I turn in all my forms and pay on time. Now, I have to start thinking about stuff for that. This also means that I will be able to graduate in December. Which also mean I have to study for and take the GMAT, so I can then apply for grad school, and hopefully start in January. Everything is happening so fast!

The Rose Bowl was better!!

I spent the weekend at Disciple Now. It was fun and refreshing. I like being able to go a whole weekend without having to think about school!

A bunch of different stuff is coming up: Heather's 21st birthday, my 21st birthday, spring break. The next 2 months should be very exciting. They will be even better if I find out that I get to go to New Zealand :)

How has everyone been doing lately? I've been too busy planning stuff to ask. Sorry. Let me know.

Stuff

I haven't posted in awhile. I've been kinda busy.

I mailed my study abroad application today. If I get into the program I'll be able to graduate in Decemeber and hopefully start grad school in January. That's weird to think about. If I don't get in I'll graduate next May as originally planned and start grad school either that summer or the next fall. Whatever happens happens.

I still haven't connected the fact that I applied to study abroad to actually getting on a plane and flying to New Zealand for a month. I'm wondering when the reality of not living in America, for however brief a time, will hit me.

My 21st birthday is in a month. I've been trying to make plans and convince a few people to come to Austin for it. It should be fun. I hope everyone can come.
