Explanation of Previous Post

My weekend was wonderful. Cleveland beat Splendora 48 to 14. The game was really cold. I haven't been to a cold football game in a long time. It brought back great memories. Also, UT beat Oklahoma State 47 to 28. The band reunion turned out really well. A lot of people showed up. It made me feel really young though. Some of the people there had graduated in the 50s. Being in the RBB is an amazing thing. I guess the feeling never fades and this reunion proves it. Briana had her 21st birthday at her house on Saturday night. We had barbecue and a big bonfire. It was really fun. After church on Sunday my family ate the brunch at Hilltop Herb Farm. It was delicious. It was great catching up with everyone at the events I went to. I miss them when I'm in Austin.
Now, I mentioned in my other post that I was really mad. When I got back to Austin my new roommate had eaten almost all my food. I'm not slightly exaggerating. I ate a can of peaches for supper. She ate my food for every meal over the weekend. I also found out that she smokes. I'm really mad about the whole situation still and I don't know what to do. Grrr...

Grrr...

I had a wonderful weekend, but now I'm really pissed off. I'll explain in my next post when I'm not so mad.

HAPPY 21st BIRTHDAY BRIANA!!!

They lost :(

Hmm

I just enjoyed 5o pages of a novel about operations management.

I'll be on a cruise to an unknown destination in exactly a month.

I'll enjoy the cruise more. I hope it comes fast.

Great Saturday

My Saturday started out with meeting my new roommate and showing her the apartment. She seems nice and normal. I hope it works out. She's moving in on Wednesday. Then I went to the UT v. Texas Tech game. I sat with Anna, Madison, and Brandy. It was a good game and we won 52 to 17. Then the four of us went and ate at El Arroyo and watched 'Stay'. It was such a weird movie, but I liked it more once I understood it. It took extensive post-movie discussion to understand it though.

I would like to thank Heather for sending me text message updates of the Astros game during the movie. Too bad they lost :(

Hilarious!

I saw a bum standing at an intersection holding a sign that read as follows...

"ROAD RAGE?? Yell at a homeless person about it for 50 cents."

The uneducated, homeless people of Austin are getting more creative!!

Tests!

-I found out I made a B on my org. behavior test. I'm ok with that because I didn't study much for it.
-I only got 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night trying to study for my tests today.
-Trying to do linear regression statistical analysis on my operations management test without a calculator on 4 1/2 hours of sleep was NOT FUN. What was she thinking not letting us use a calculator?! I truly could not remember how to do long division. I haven't had to do math on paper since 7th grade!
-My marketing test wasn't too bad. I should have studied more, but isn't that always the case?
-I may have already found a new roommate. She's coming to meet me and see the place on Saturday before the game. I really hope this works out.

i think your situation wins the "this sucks" game

The title is what Christiana told me in response to this...

My sister found out yesterday that we are only half sisters. Someone told her at school. Why that would come up in a conversation at CHS I'm not sure. I didn't even know that she didn't know.

Christiana's situation: She and her boyfriend of 4 months broke up. Christiana, I'm very sorry. It all sucks.

Stuff

-My roommate moved out yesterday. It's a long story, but not my fault.
-Work went great today. Everything else seems to be a mess. What a drastic change.
-I'm in Cleveland. I was a little overwhelmed by the number of people at Homecoming. I think the feeling of high school football is finally wearing off.
-I talked to a bunch of different people yesterday on the phone and online. I like hearing from people. Call or IM me sometime.
-I'm getting my hair done by a new lady tomorrow morning. I'm a little worried.
-It's nice being home.

Interesting...

FOX Newscaster #1: "Thank God it's Friday! Karl Rove isn't saying that though. He may have a date with the Grand Jury today."
FOX Newscaster #2: "Hey. Isn't there a separation of church and TV?" (sarcastically)
FOX Newcaster #1: "I apologize for that. It was on the teleprompter."

Is there...? I think not.

UT 45 - OU 12

How awesome is that? UT finally ended their 5 year losing streak against OU. The 100th anniversary game was a great time to do that too. I went to Arlington with Nicki and Abby for Ellis's birthday. It was fun...and interesting...definitely worth the trip. It was great catching up with everyone. Now I have to do all the studying tonight that I didn't do this weekend for the test I have tomorrow. I'm going home this weekend for Homecoming. Hopefully it will be a short week.

Yay!

Yay #1 - Nicki, Abby, and I are going to Arlington this weekend. It's Ellis's birthday on Friday, and the OU game is on Saturday. I'm excited. We're going to have a blast!
Yay #2 - I ordered my college ring today! It's natural finish white gold, with a 1/2 carat diamond in the middle. It's gorgeous!

My ring will look like this, except shinier, with a diamond in the middle above the shield. Posted by Picasa

Good & Bad

The Good: I found out that I made a B on my marketing exam, the other test I took last Thursday. For doing very little studying, I did really well! I don't have to blame bad grades on anything. I guess it was luck.
The Bad: Work is slowly sucking up more and more of my time. I come in an hour early here, stay an hour late there, and soon I've worked many more hours than I was supposed to. One or two extra hours at a time really adds up. I haven't said anything about it only because Nita really needs a lot of help, which is why she asks me to come in early and stay late, and I'm currently the only person helping her. Maybe it will get better when the new person that was just hired comes and takes some stuff over.

More Stuff

-Cleveland finally has power.
-I made a 80 on my business law exam. I'm relieved. I don't know what I made on my marketing exam yet. I guess I'll find out on Tuesday.
-UT beat Missouri 51 to 20 on Saturday. It was an interesting game. UT gots tons of penalties. The TD at the beginning of the third quarter was awesome.
-The temperature in Austin is up again, but not as high as it was. When is it going to get cool and actually stay that way?
-Work sucks. The story behind this statement is too long to explain.
